RTW doesn't run in off-line mode

Hello!

My problem is I cannot play RTW while my Steam client runs in off-line mode. I'm getting the following error message:

"You do not have a valid Steam subscription for this application [AppID=4760]"

While I'm on-line everything works great. How to resolve this issue?

I have the exact same issue. Rome Total War was running fine in Offline Mode for years really and just recently it stopped. So the issue is something to do with the Steam version itself I think since nothing has changed on my end, not even the campaign I am playing.

ive been having the same problem here ever since the most recent steam client update. Steam support has offered no solution, but I have informed them of it when i first noticed it....doesnt look like we are going to get a fix though
