jsut got my NZXT phantom, and a 140mm blue led Bitfenix fan to slap in the front. im wondering though where the two pin led cable from the fan goes. theres a port on the fan control of the case, but its already hooked up to the included 200mm led top fan. can i put the led cable into the mobo somehwere

cant you wire up both LEDs to the same connector with a bit of solder or a chocblock, and stick that in the port?

You can plug it into any of the motherboard fan headers. Just make sure you get the leads into the proper pins.

im using an old mobo atm (not installing OS till i get SSD, mentioned in other thread) the only other fan header is a single 3 pin sys_fan. plugging it into that causes the fan to stop

Post a link to the fan and the motherboard.

With that case there are more of those cables. That case has a fan controller for 5 fans so there will be 7 of those connectors (split connection for the 2 side and 2 top fans). If you look at the side of your case you should see a spare connector not in use.

I have the same case.

I know that, the fan is plugged in already. I'm looking for somwhere to connect the led cable.

I have a gigabyte ga-h55m-s2 and the fan is a bitfenix spectre blue led 140mm
