I can't help but notice that their customer service is pretty good whenever they get to charge you for something, but gods forbid you want to cancel or get a refund for a service - then they turn into the biggest bag of wieners this side of a hotdog factory.

I'm surprised the NAB and RIAA don't just start their own satellite network..

I used to be. Canceling is pretty fun experience. They throw every deal they have at you to get you to stay. It got to the point I actually said, "Like I have to tell Europhoria every time I see him, no means no!"

I used to when they weren't merged, also pretty close to when XM just started. But cancelled that years ago.

But its the same deal with ISPs, threaten to leave and its as if you're God himself. Otherwise they care less :/

I never had to deal with them. I am using Sirius at the moment since I got 3 free months with the purchase of my new car. I like it but I think I am going to cancel when the free trial is up. $15.95 a month is a bit much. And since the car has Bluetooth I can just use my iPhone.

But I do enjoy SiriusXM. Maybe if it was $9.95 a month I would continue the service.

tripple, just say you want to cancel -- they'll throw a deal at you. When my sub is about to expire and I would be defaulted to their full rate, I call to 'cancel', at which point you'll be offered a discount rate. I'm at 50% retail.
