Dude come on...why not make a suggestion...ban MW3....post, tweet, facebook, believe it or not word of mouth does effect business it's economics 101....if Acivision doesn't listen to there customers another gaming company will....then they will rule the airwaves...solution ranked dedicated servers...end of line!

This will do absolutely nothing, they already have your money. Boycott any DLC that they bring out, hit em where it hurts. But I am sadden to think even that won't work as the majority will buy the DLC :-(

I enjoy the game and play it every evening. Hackers were quite active that free weekend but its has subsided lately. They aren't in every map as many here would lead you to believe. I've gotten a couple hackers banned and since BanCandy has been actively banning people. The hackers must be getting the message that BanCandy is banning them and deciding that maybe its too risky. Only saw one obvious one this week.

In the last few days, it's been the exact opposite for me. There have been a lot more obvious cheaters (I'm talking snap/headshot, shooting through walls/hills/etc... types; not ones that may just be good players). There was a point last night for about an hour or so, that about every 3rd match or so had at least one in it.

I've been a staunch supporter of the fact that there are more butt-hurt whiny "hackusators" than cheaters in this game, but I cannot say that over the last week or so.

OP (and to anyone who wants to petition things on forums), for any popular game you can be sure that 5% of it's playerbase will actually read the forums. Lets say by some miracle you manage give a compelling statement (aka, not the one in the op) about the game and that you convince half the forum goers to go along with idea. Not everyone will go through with idea all the way to the end, but lets be extremely generous here and say 75% of the people you convinced go through with this boycotting.

You have convinced 2% of the entire playerbase to not play over the weekend, and this is being over optimistic with figures. I'm sure Activision/IW/Sledgehammer are not going to lose sleep over this.

I may be coming across and an ♥♥♥♥, but i'm trying to be realistic here.

like the rest said, can't really boycott something that is already paid for, hows this instead, BOYCOTT ANY FUTURE COD GAMES, unless they "promise" better customer service to the consumers (this case, us the players).

I dont know what game you guys are playing, but i dont have any problems with cheaters at all. I play on dedicated servers with admins. Did you maybe bought some half ♥♥♥ russian version of the game? You sure that's MW3 you are playing and not MW2?

The best boycot would be not to buy the upcoming DLC's. But if the matchmaking is identical to MW2 (which it probably is), you may find it harder to find a game.

Don't even get me started on skipping the first DLC and only buying the second. I did that with MW2 and I could find almost no game at all.
