Fame Meter

I have looked everywhere, and I can't figure out what this Meter represents. Everyime it fills up and resets, is that equal to one fame point?

It represents the amount of fame you have. How fame is calculated is another matter, but the meter quite clearly tells you how much fame you have.
If you mouse over it, you can see the number. When it fills up and "resets" it means you got another star for that character. But it doesn't actually reset, it just rescales it for the next fame threshold.

1st star is 20 fame(you should get no less than 1 fame per level, and I usually get it by 14).
2nd star is 150
3rd,4th,5th are 400, 800, and 2000

Wow, somehow I never managed to highlight over it to look at it. I do this all the time with the hp and mp. Thanks by the way.
