Unlimited Free Continues

So as I'm sure many other people have probably noticed, if you click save and quit on the continue screen, when you resume you start on the level you saved with the amount of lives prior, and without taking up a continue. Essentially meaning you can have as many tries as you want on a level without paying gold for a continue.

Good to know, I just used one myself and I didn't notice it cost gold.

However I think it resets your score?

It does reset your score. I had to use that to escape an infinite loop when I had no magic and no chance anything would break or anything.
