PC: In Rescue Jackie from Iron Maiden level, can't climb anything

I've watched youtube vids for this level, and see people climbing all over the place. I cannot seem to climb anything--even stuff that glows. I can forward back left right and execute the gaurds--but can't go UP anything. I've done everything I can think of including reinstalling the game, verifying cache, and checking control key bindings. Nothing. Any ideas? I hope so, because I love this game.

Are you talking about the barrel shelves? I wasn't able to climb them too. I could attack them though and get enemies attraction, standing in the light, so I could kill them. Indeed I was only able to climb up at 2 spots. The first shaft to get around some enemies and the 2nd where the energy system was.

Climbing, if I remember correctly (I just finished it yesterday) was done by attacking them. And I had to go in a really straight line on them in order to be able to climb.

It's the slash attack from the middle mouse button--and they're not to be climbed, but broken.

You might want to remove the spoilers from the topic though. It wasn't from this, but I found out about the iron maiden early and it did spoil the story for me a bit
