Wow this game has been on sale A LOT, in the past month it's been on sale at least twice (not just on steam).

Games that sell really well have a tendency to keep a decent retail price, but go on sale often.

Borderlands goes on sale almost every third tuesday, mainly because Gearbox made its money back on it QUICK, and it still sells like mad.

For those interested, there is brazilian game site called nuuvem that is selling Deus Ex activatable on Steam for R$ 14,90 (something like US$ 8) and the augumented edition for R$ 19,90 (something like US$ 11). They accept paypal.

I'm interested in them, but will buying from them make my account banned or anything?

I don't understand why you would be banned. Deus Ex is a steamworks game. If you buy it from amazon or gamestop and place your key in Steam, would you be banned?

AFAIK only some asian cd-keys are region locked. Steamwork games can be downloaded in all available languages that are shown on the store page.

While the Call of Duty franchise sells well, they rarely have tempting sales. I usually buy the ones two releases behind.

Also note, that's Activision, who regularly charges console prices for PC games, and will squeeze every last bit of money they can out of something.

I'm wondering if it will go 75% off later today/tomorrow. I'm thinking it will either be Deus Ex, Just Cause or Kane & Lynch that gets the other days, maybe Supreme Commander.

i bought my game from nuuvem a month or two ago for ~6,xx€ and had no problems at all. You get your Steam Key immediately and no problems so far.

Yep, looks like the 75%'s are all gonna be games with at least 3 in the series. Another possibility, and what I'm hoping for, is Dungeon Siege.

Between the original Deus Ex games going on 75% off today (I already had DE:HR on Steam) and the Fallout Collection being today's daily, today is an epic old school gaming day on Steam.

5 classic games for just over 10 bucks! If you like games at all, you just can't beat that. I'm going to remember today for awhile.

I'm thinking it's between DS and Just Cause. But I'm gonna take a bet that it'll be Just Cause. DS is a bit weird because the first 2 aren't on Steam as standalone and Just Cause has lots of DLC they throw in there as well.
