If you are having trouble finding Maniaspace like I did for the longest time, go to explorer, then at the link bar just type in "home". that will take you away from the ads. Click on bookmarks, and you should see maniaspace link.
To download your own maps, find your map number by looking at your maps. Hover over update and you'll see something like this.

That 5 digit number is your map. Now go to the recent maps and go click download to one of the new maps. You will need to write down a transaction number.
Heres one that might work for you.
maniaspace:track?map=*****&transaction=76528030
obviously replace the stars with your track number.
put that in your url in game, and wala. You download your own track.
Hope I save people some pain and suffering. (and maybe me in the future when I forget how to do this)
