Well, I just could not resist, the main character was just too damn loveable :)
I'm only in a little under 3 hours, think I'm at the first "Boss Fight" and am really enjoying it so far. It's engaging enough that, so far, I don't find it getting boring, at least not yet.
I was on the fence as to whether or not to purchase it, as I really do only game with my Logitech Dual Action (DInput only, no XInput) and was not sure if the game would work with x360ce XBOX 360 emulator.
I'd never had a game yet that it did not work with, until I bought Rochard. That game runs on Unity engine and x360ce does NOT work with it.
Once I discovered Warp runs on Unreal, I knew it'd be no problem. So, for anyone using x360ce, I can confirm it does in fact work fine with Warp.
I really do enjoy the game, and in my opinion, it is really well polished for a 10 dollar Indie game.
Yeh, I know before anybody says anything, it is published by the EVIL EA but, honestly, other than the initial activation it really has not been a problem for me.
I already have an EA/Origin account, so logging on in-game is not a big deal to me. Only gripe I have is I wish there was a way to have the game "auto log-in" because the way it is now, you have to manually type in username and password each time you launch the game. Other than that, I got no complaints.
Mind you though, you do NOT have to log in at all and play off-line. You just won't have access to any leader-boards or on-line stats.
Thanks for reading, and have a great day :)
