Saves reappearing after being deleted

I'm having this strange problem where my saves keep reappearing even after I delete them. Whether I delete them in game or from My Documents they just keep coming back. My save list is beginning to be filled because I can't delete anything. I've searched online and it seems some other people are having this same problem but I haven't found a solution for it yet.

Try disabling steam cloud from Skyrim's properties tab and then try deleting them again.
