Be careful everyone, this past weekend I bought the FFXI Ultimate, like many of you. I created my account, managed to frinally play late last night and sometime today. I tried to claim the Destrier Beret, but for some reason the account page would not let me.
So I called Square-Enix....Guess what, they had me DELETE my characters!!! It turns out there was going to be a possible billing issue because the keys I was issued by STEAM are european and I am from the USA.
So now, not only was I made to wait for the keys, I played all of 10 hours only to be told by the game maker to DELETE my characters because my key was not supposed to have been issued to an American.
I am beyond livid. Now im waiting on what STEAM will do.
