Downloading AOE Online

I'm currently trying to download the game but for some reason its not adding to my download list on Steam. It says its currently downloading one item but the progress bar isn't moving for some reason. I just tried downloading a smaller game and it worked fine. Also tried re-starting Steam to no avail. Is anyone else getting this? Is this something on my end? Thanks in advance for any replies.

Yeah, they'll probably have it fixed soonish. Just wait it out is all I can say ;P

Same here. Steam downloaded AOEO, but it didn't show up on the downloads tab and it does not show up in my games library. I can launch it by manually running the exe though.

Hmmm I finished downloading and i can find the game at program files/steam/steamapps/common/age of empires online, however, it won't show in steam library. I hope they fix this soon.

I'm looking into this issue, but I can't reproduce it here. If anyone is seeing this issue, would you pm me your steam user name and the country you're downloading from?

It appears to have downloaded as the game is in my Steam common folder. Its just not appearing in my games list in Steam proper as someone has stated above. I tried restarting Steam but that doesn't seem to help. Thank you for looking into this issue. :)

Ah, there we go. Just re-started Steam and the game appears in my games list. Thanks again for your quick response and fix of this issue. :)

I'm in a GFWL unsupported country (Slovenia) however I was able to install the game by changing steam region (?cc=us).

I can play my other GFWL games without trouble. Valve please look into it :)

The opposite.. This has nothing to do with GFWL and everything to do with Steam.

PS. The same problem with me. I downloaded the game the progress bar was glitchy, restarted steam a few times and the progress bar was near the end. Then it finished downloading the game but still doesn't appear in my game list.

Is the game in your steam apps folder? If so, have you tried booting the launcher from there?

Just bought the all in wonder bundle but the game doesn't appear in my library. It's also not installed on the computer itself. The buying process was absolutely normal, no troubles there. I can't buy it again because steam has detected that I've already bought that game. But why is there no AoEO in my library :confused:

First, try restarting Steam.

If that doesn't work, try going to the Steam store page (http://store.steampowered.com/app/105430/) and click "Play Game".

Same problem for me. Only could install it by clicking the direct link (We don't have it in our Steam Store. Also, can't see it in my library and in my downloads.
P.S. I'm from Lithuania.

The all in wonder bundle doesnt seem to include the actual game for some reason lol.

First, try restarting Steam.

If that doesn't work, try going to the Steam store page (http://store.steampowered.com/app/105430/) and click "Play Game".

The second option fixed my issue.

Simply went 'Play game' and it appeared in my games library, right clicked and went DLC and it all appears to be there :)

Just to verify, what region are you both in?

The game is only available for LIVE supported countries. http://www.xbox.com/en-US/live/countries
For people in unsupported regions, the game won't show up in the "Downloads" list.

My account was created using the UK region, the same one on which i bought the DLCs on.

Have you tried downloading it directly through LIVE then?
I mean it won't show up in Steam, but if you're gamertag is from a supported region, it should work.

I have no problem downloading the game from LIVE. Thanks for the tip. Although i use Steam for all my pc games, i find it a bit odd that this game has these issues while others don't. If there is a fix, please do it. Thank you.
