I bought just cause 2 for PC ages ago and my computer did not meet the requirements. But now i bought a new computer. I try to see if the game works. All go's well and dandy. Once the game launches, i automatically get an error. Its probably a common error, i don't know. But it states that the game crashed and had a Fatal DirectX error code: 2 .

I researched the error and the most common fix was to update my graphics and drivers. Also to make sure i have DirectX 9 or higher. Also to make sure my computer is compatible with DirectX 9 or higher. Well my computer came with DirectX11. So the drivers are compatible. I used game booster to look for any updates on my drivers. I fully upgrade them and i still get the error.
The computer is a win 7, 64 bit with 3gb of memory/ram, and its 1TB.

I didn't see your psu posted on their but I think at your resolution you would need a 5770 or a gts450. Also that resolution is CPU bound so you might have to overclock a bit even with a new card.

That GPU, even if it was a DX10 capable piece (which it's not), woudn't had the horsepower to run the game at anything above hmmm, let's say, 3 FPS.
