When activating a device such as a lever, time continues to run while the camera pans to the affected object. This might save some time somewhere, but can also be extremely annoying, especially on level 46, where you have very little time before the gates close and you have to execute precise jumps without looking at your character.

Is there any way to skip the camera panning that I missed? Is this supposed to be part of the challenge of level 46? (If so, then it's highly disproportionate to the rest of the game - I'm fairly sure that I've died more on the first gate of level 46 than everything else put together.) Or is it just something that the developers never thought of?
