Noob Question

So last strategy game I played was age of mythology hehe, I remember you could choose villagers to gather food.
How do I gather food in this game? It is one of the first quest.

I haven't Played this game yet but from what I've seen it is exactly the same as mythology in that respect.

I cant choose any to gather food, can only control my army?

If you are playing the tutorial, the first quest doesn't require any food gathering. That comes later.

The quest is to gather food :D

In that case, your villagers are the only ones who can gather food from the three primary sources you have access to - fish from the hopping fish in the water, berries from the big berry bushes, and deer from the deer herds.

You will definitely want to click on the little tooltips along the left edge, they explain just about everything that might be confusing.
