I don't even remember such game existed. :(

How is it like?

It's $4. My prepaid card charges me more than this monthly for fees.

Bought it, despite not having played it before.

Actually I do play games I bought. I just have a backlog. I bought bioshock a year ago and only just finished playing it last week.

That's an odd bit of bigotry.

I got it at 1.7 euro..which is nearly free. The price suddenly went another 50% off before i managed to buy it.

This game is worth 1.7 euro. The same price as a chocolate for comparison. ;)

LOL, if you look at his profile it shows he plays 50+hrs a week.
That's no less brainless than someone who listens to music all week owning 800 CDs.

Back to the topic, though. From those who own this game, is it "worth it" at its current price? Also, is it possible to use a 360 remote with the game (or would it be frustrating to even try?)?

And it's his first post too. He's off to a great start. :p

I've always been kind of interested in this game, but it never seems to be on sale.

Voath2 must have access to Valve's sales figures broken down by nation which he/she has then cross referenced with his/her extensive database of games owned by nation and games played by those nations.

Voath's data mining skills are second to none and must be the envy of multinational corporations all over the world.

Or maybe he/she has just based their statement on some vague dislike of English speaking nations? Surely not...

Just from watching the videos it seems like you need pinpoint accuracy to complete the challenges. The challenge in the store page video involved clicking on moving entities and placing them in various bowls as quickly as possible. That might be difficult with a gamepad.

That's an odd bit of bigotry.

In a way he's right, though not in that obnoxious way he expressed it. :) A lot of us, I think, buy games with the intent to some day play them, because to us, a couple bucks make no difference, and it's nice to buy something -- if only so we bought something!

I'm certainly guilty of that. :) So, I guess it's probably pretty common for people in "first world countries" (I think that's what he was trying to say) to spend money on stuff we don't actually need or even use. Looking at my ~230 games, I have to admit that two thirds of them were impulse buys that I haven't even really looked at, let alone played properly.

Needless to say, I bought this one, too. :p Hey, it has got lots of achievements!

So far it seems that way. =/ I'm saddend being a golden potato owner and all. That said, they don't have a major launch to promote. I'm not too surprised it seems like they aren't doing anything as epic. That said, I really wish there were something other than a couple fake wiki articles.

I recommend this game. It actually trains your reflexes properly, each minigame is designed pretty well for this manner. It was originally released as a Wii game, and the translation from the WiiMote to the mouse is pretty effective, the controls flow very well.

Also, this version is filled with lots of unnecessary yet funny Half-Life references (lamba symbols everywhere, some samurai cardboards are actually combines, etc)

It's a very decent game, and very much better than other generic mini-game compilations, if we're labeling it in that genre

There is only 168 hours a week playing 50 hours or more would mean you 30% of your week playing games. Saying you sleep for about 1/3 of the week and have a job/school. I would say that making fun of how much he plays gives you right to no life. Spending his money how he wants is up to him. If he wants a big backlog let him. Picking up really cheap games at great deals isn't hard.

This is what I learned today...

Step 1: Aim your hand using the mouse.

Step 2: Track a koi by keeping your hand directly OVER the fish. Sudden movement will startle it.

Step 3: Wait for the koi to rise to the water's surface.

Step 4: The moment the koi surfaces, press the left mouse button to grab it.

What did you guys learn today? NOTHING! Because you lay on your couch drinking beer, eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and watching TV. Now get off your ♥♥♥ and learn how to catch a koi for God's sake. Here, I've even drawn a picture (http://i86.photobucket.com/albums/k120/videogames10/CatchingaKoi.jpg) for you. By the way, does anybody know when Dancing With the Stars comes on?

No, it only means that his computer had a Steam game open for 30% of the week. That is different from actually playing. I don't know about him, but I often have games running in the background while I'm working, and often enough I hit the hay while a game is paused.

Oh, right! Is there a way to disable it somehow, like through a command line parameter? It's nothing too grating, but - at least for me - it detracts a bit from the game's mood. I mean, throwing shurikens at the Combine grunts is sooo 2008 ;)

I tried to search it up on the dev's website, but it seems to be down. Any ideas, you guys?

Definitely recommend checking out the demo. It's okaaayyy but I wish they gave more than a couple variations. A few of the challenges seem more like a luckfest than anything involving skill (particularly catching the superfast fly Karate Kid style.) It can be done but I'd be lying if I said I was doing anything but clicking randomly until I caught it.

Anybody notice the head crabs jumping out of the water on the main menu screen? At first I thought they were catfish. Nope, head crabs. There's your daily dose of trivia.

Again, for those who own it, is it worth the purchase price?

Thanks.

I'd say it's worth the sale price, although with only six minigame types the game is kind of repetitive. The minigames do get harder as you go so there's a certain level of challenge, though.

It seems like a decent game to play when you have 10 - 15 minutes to spare here and there. Younger players will probably enjoy it too.

52 Steam achievements also add some extra incentive for those who are into that sort of thing.

Couple problems with the game, unless I'm overlooking the options: No windowed mode, and no way to turn down the volume.

Like worse than beavis and butthead minigames dumb (cept the loogie one that was cool).

I was only kidding around. I actually like the game. Ninja Reflex for a buck and some change is a great deal if you like casual games. I believe the Nintendo Wii version was going for around $40.00 at release, so at $1.70 it's a no-brainer if you like this type of game. I enjoyed the two mini games in the demo, so I'll probably pick this one up.
