This was THE Total Conversion set to have, back in the day. Anyone know where I could find it?

For anyone not familiar with A:TC, it was a "Total Conversion" that changed the levels, storyboards, weapons, enemies, and sound effects to an Aliens theme. The game more-or-less followed the events of the Aliens film, with some levels (particularly the bonus levels) being based on scenes from Alien.

I always loved this mod, as it really was better than Doom itself was, and was the first decent gaming experience in the Aliens universe. Thanks and kudos to whoever can point me in the right direction!

Will this work with source ports?

Try both the updated version and the doom 2 version, I haven't played it in years, but i'm sure zdoom will run it, I'll test it out, hang tight

Ok, get the Doom 2 version, tested with Gzdoom, just drag all the .wad and the .deh file onto your gzdoom executable and it runs, can't say if it's perfect as i can't remember exactly how it was, but from what I played, it works :D

to make a shortcut so start it directly, make sure you unzip the TC into your g/zdoom folder, make a new .bat file (right click, new)
then using notepad/wordpad add,

"gzdoom.exe -IWAD doom2.wad -file atc2wad.wad -file atc2tex.wad -file atc2snd.wad -file atc2sf.wad -file atc2.deh"

(no quotations, dosbox.exe if you followed my guide to source ports in steam)

In the end the only way I got it fully working right was to use gzdoom and AliensTC for Ultimate Doom (using the "download the original (http://www.doomwadstation.com/main/aliens.html)" version of AliensTC), otherwise texture alignment and sprites were all screwed up.

Additionally, the command line option for loading a dehacked file through gzdoom is "-deh" in place of "-file".

There's a newer one called Aliens Colonial Marines for Doom 2. It cleverly uses graphics and sounds from AvP1 and AvP2 with original levels.
