Dear Steampowered company....

Is Gamestop kicking you some money to support users purchasing Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion there, yet sending you all the traffic and bandwidth to download the game?

At this rate Valve might as well just acquire Gamestop! =^-^= (use it to sell tie in merchandise, gift cards, etc)

(Yes I realize you sell or well be offering the game as well I just used Impulse as I
previously had Stardock games and expansions through it)
I do like how Impulse allows me to specify where I want to install games.
Having to resort to administrative mode directory link shenanigans with steam is annoying.

I like the Steam client more. The only reason I pre-purchased it through Impulse is because of the $10 discount offer for Trinity owners.

Valve doesn't care. The whole strategy behind Steamworks was to get the Steam client on as many people's machines as possible. Which is free advertising for Valve. That's why they offer Steamworks to developers free of charge.
