Rebellion graphics?

Hi,

I have red that the gpu enigine had a great boost over Trinity. While i watch beta 1 full hd vids at YT, im sorry to say but the graphics still look outdated. I started HW2 again and for the graphics i dont see any difference. Is it because of the beta or will this be the rebellion standard?

Admittedly there is a limit without doing a new engine but they have improved the graphics.

I have the Rebellion beta, I'm running everything in max and it looks beautiful.

Well according to the specs its still DX9, as such theres not much they could do with it.

The ship models are more detailed now, but if you can see it you're not watching the battle... actually if you're close enough to complain about the graphics at all you're probably too close :P

They've definitely upped the effects somewhat. The new Titan class ships put out a LOT of light, definitely crowd pleasers, and they tend to obscure a bit of the action. ;)
