need help.. not enjoying.

I thought an sli gtx 580 would be able to rip this too pieces.. seems not.


When i bank the helicopter it turns back to start again, it feels wrong really spongy, like its auto aiming for something. is there something i need to turn off (auto hover is off).

Also the grx look amazing on youtube, but on mine all the ground textures and scenery look mehhh on 1980 x 1080, again am i missing something?

The game is not just graphics card dependent - you're cpu, memory and disk read speed are also important.

Nethertheless, it seems you may have auto-trim enabled. Personally I found the game easier to fly in expert mode so I would advise switching to that - in expert mode all the helpers are off and it's just you and your joystick! You can edit the diffuculties also to manually switch off auto-trim.

As for the ground textures - they are not as detailed as some of the Arma maps simply because BI wanted to make the maps big enough to fly on - if they had the high detail of sat Chernarus then the game would run like a dog on a supercomputer! However the buildings and water especially in downtown Seattle are impressive - make sure your textures are up high.
