Windowed to full screen

so I mistakenly switched from full screen to windowed, and now the bottom chunk of the screen is cut off, unfortunately, because of the small height of the buttons, I can't press any buttons down in that half inch space. I can't even seem to switch from windowed back to full screen.

so my question is, is there a file I need to edit, or am I entering the wrong command when trying to switch to full screen?
