HELP

I get sent back to the start no matter which side I travel I have tried using markers to confirm this is the case, can't find any little buttons either?

P.S. Brilliant game that takes me back to my childhood....

Here's a hint.
There's a scroll on this level that tells you how to proceed through.

I threw away the scroll after the "turnaround" hallway because I thought it was the solution to that :P

And who said guides were bad?

And who said guides were bad?

They're not necessarily bad if they alleviate extreme frustration, but I would argue that the game is a lot less satisfying if you let someone else solve the puzzles for you.

IMHO this is the toughest puzzle in the game.
