Hey guys.

2 questions!

1) What difficulty are you playing on? I'm only on Level 2 and i'm starting to regret playing on Normal instead of Easy.. because well.. it's hard.

2) How do i make antidotes/potions? I have ingredients that i've found at the end of 1, etc. but nowhere to make it.

There is a Mortar and Pestle inside a sack at the end of the 2nd floor that is used for alchemy potions.

1) I always play normal first time I play a game and I never touch easy because I feel like a huge ♥♥♥ by playing on it.

2) Keep playing you will find stuff later on.
You will find a scroll telling you ingredients needed and items to create it later.

I'm playing Normal and coping okay. Learn to lure the enemy into open spaces where you can sidestep and dance around them, or use a door to protect yourself.

To make potions you need to wait until you find a certain object at the end of level 2.

You will start finding recipes hidden around the dungeons around the same time..
ps. I'm playing normal as well.. I can't bear to play easy, but I know full well that I can't play without a map. :P

I just made it to floor 4. I play on normal, I was going to play on easy but knew I would regret it most likely if I did. Normal so far is doable i'v only really had trouble with a select amount of rooms and some of them because I was not thinking properly. I admit though level 3 and 4 really hit you with a ramp in difficulty.

I play it on hard, and managed to get to level 10 without ragequitting. Of course I use every trick in the book, luring the tough monsters one by one, kiting like a maniac, sleeping in safe places, saving religiously, potions, all that jazz.

Some stuff was impossible right away, I only beat the Slime Room after leveling up and coming back, and I still can't make it through the Fighter's Challenge Maybe in the future...
Right now, I need to figure out how to deal with the Lantern Freaks These guys sure play rough.
All in all, I'm really enjoying the challenge. This game isn't pulling any punches, and I love it.

I have one group on hard on level 3 and 2 more on easy (which is just too easy). I'm having a great time trying to keep my mino alive on hard and constantly drag a back ranker to the front to help him. While I have fun on easier levels they don't really compare to my group on hard. So far 2 human fighter tanks with high dex works pretty good with the mino jumping in for a few hits on the front rank or using a spear from the back rank. But everything revolves around the human mage (my favorite class).

I'm unashamedly playing on easy. New genre for me and I want to enjoy it not be "challenged" while I learn to play. Having a great time. Spiders are annoying:mad::D.

Combat gets exponentially easier the more you play. If you take your time and control your movement, you can take down most enemies without taking many hits at all. It just takes some practice.

Yeah, easy is best, especially if your new to this kind of game.

Those that tell you they found hard to be easy, are full of it. :)

Thanks for all the replies you guys. Yeah i'm on level 2 right now, haven't had much time to play the last couple days but i'm starting it back up right now. :)
