In case if anyone missed yesterday's announcement.

HD remake of SR2 with new graphics, gameplay enhancements, equipment, text quests\planet battles and so on.
Developers says that it will be available in Steam but no any words about possible Steamworks integration yet.
1C planned to release it in ~Q4 '12 on PC.
No Mac\iOS\Android versions are planned for now. Although it would be good to see SRHD on tablets.

If this is SR2 + Reboot + Widescreen + Revolution expansion I'm getting it day 1.

Game is so worth it.

They've confirmed elsewhere that it will also have new quests and new stuff to do, including improvements to piracy if you're into that, in addition to the obvious resolution change, so it might be worth buying.

Release of Russian retail version (with steamable cd-keys) is scheduled for 15th March.
Steam version could follow soon after that, but english localization release date is still unknown.

On russian steam page it's already been released. Not in UK sadly.

From what I understand the russians are not currently overjoyed; though they express hope that one day it might be playable.
