update: now i can log in but have the "reconnecting to chat" issue again.

honestly guys, that the client UI freezes because of connectivity issues to the chat server is highly embarrassing.

These things should run in separate threads and not interfere with each other.

im not using a d-link router, its netgear and the firmware is up to date.
