View Full Version : This may seem like a stupid question, but.
Okay, I feel like the answer to this is no; but I'm obliged to ask this anyways: Is autolooting allowed?
Edit: A couple hundred views, but no answers. Could someone please answer?

Technically, no. It would be a cheat
But realistically, there's no point anyway, since no one else can see your good loot at all. The only time it would be useful is when scavenging for hp/mp pots in the castle.
I was actually thinking that I wanted to get an autolooter so I could collect soulbound drops faster in godlands. Would that be allowed?

There's lag with using that autolooter. I have seen people use it and get stuck in lag as they continue running towards the realm gods or into lava then they die.
I don't think it's cheating, since you have soulbound drops.
/that/ autolooter? I want to just pick up any old one and start running it. Guh, now I'm confused. One yes and one no.

There's also always a risk downloading anything 3rd party and related to ROTMG. It's like asking to get keylogged.

Yes, it is cheating. You won't get in trouble for it, but it is cheating.

Back during PvP looting we considered autolooters cheating for sure. These days it doesn't really seem to matter. I never use 3rd party software when playing, some things like insta-nexus with low HP would be considered too much of an advantage. You can also just swap drop: run up to your sb bag with a swap item over the loot slot where the pot is. that is quick and safe and 100% using game features only.
