Mac version crashes instantly

A few days ago I was playing this just fine. Now, for some reason, it just refuses to work. I see the icon appear in the dock for about half a second before vanishing. I've tried restarting, and I've tried reinstalling, and it hasn't helped. And that's about the extent of my technical knowledge within OSX. I don't even know where the game data is stored on the hard drive (and the useless OSX file browser certainly isn't any help).

Same thing happens for me, I just purchased the game for my Mac but it won't work at all...not too pleased, hope it gets fixed.

I can't run it either. I am not running on a Mac though. I am running a Dev version of Windows 8 and it crashes as soon as the game starts to load. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it. Nothing has managed to work so far.
