How does the game play if I turn them off? I just don't want to deal with them, and its stupid to talk to an ai team mate in a game. I guess if it would recognize all of the words but I went through a few of the problem words 20+ times saying the words in different ways with different accents, you name it. They never recognized.

That was after adjusting my mic to maximum sensitivity and the lowest noise filter level.

Honestly the only reason for voice coms in a game is to talk to other living people when you play online.

You know you can change it in the Config right? (the one that appears as an option when you launch the game or you can just right click it in the library and click Configure Binary Domain)

The worst thing is that the voice recognition is utter crap. It requires you to speak each word distinctly separate and clear as a bell.

They are bots, they are not going to laugh to your squeaky voice, j/k.

Voice commands are one of the best features in the game, yes, they don't work perfect but it's a great idea.

Tab brings up the possible voice commands, but how do you select one? I've pressed every button on my keyboard, but nothing worked.

Which ever buttons the Sprint/Cover buttons and focus button is binded to I think. Default is Space and F, but I rebinded mine to shift and tab.

Either way, it is Shift and Tab for me.

You need to disable voice commands in the options if you want to use buttons.

I found the voice recognition just completely misunderstanding me all the time. I lost all my trust with bo in the beginning, on separate occasions when the voice recognition misunderstood my commands into an equivalent of "F*** you, you bloody muppet, you should just go kill yourself" instead of the actual command or reply to his question. I am a fluent English speaker and I am not quite sure how it is even possible to botch it this bad. I think I will restart from beginning without voice enabled.

the voice comm needs some tweaks cause mine don't understand a lot of words and i have a decent mic.
