made a thread about this instead of posting in the bugs/requests thread so its easier to find

we need the option to create a match instead of the server searching for games. wanted to race shatter bay with a friend today and the server kept putting me into a race with other people

also need the option to choose shatter bay when creating a friend match instead of only being able to choose player created cities

Good idea, in general we(developers) prefer to have a separate thread for every issue, since it's easier to see if certain configurations causes the problem, and to find out all information about the bug. The bug/requests thread is good to have some overview, but it's not very easy to find information about a specific bug when trying to fix it.

But the title should match the bug description...

Ok, about your requests. Choosing to host, is probably never going to happen, as it will mess up the balancing of the automatchmaking.

However Shatterbay racing in friends matches, is something that we have thought about ourselves too. It got dropped because of time constraints, but it's definitely something that we think about for future patches.
