Swing too early?

SO I am having an issue with the game, Well more of an issue with me. I can't score any runs because every damn time I chase a ball, I always swing too early. How the hell do I correct this? I don't understand why I seem to swing too early. Anytime I swing I feel like the ball is in the box.

But seriously, yeah, depending on any input lag or framerate issue or simply picking the ball up on the screen, the timing can be a pain.

Best I found was to tinker with the pitch speed settings in the difficulty settings area for the AI. You may want to speed the pitches up a bit if you are constantly swinging to early.

Also, the camera focus when batting has a great impact on when I see the break of a ball. Try creating a custom batting camera for yourself.

Tinker with them in the hitting mini game until something just clicks with you.

I actually turned off that grey batters box and I've been playing on all star getting 10+ hits a game.
