Half Dark Screen Bug

Just figured I'd mention this... every now and then, when I restart an area, or load a save, the right half of the background will be dark (not characters though, just background and/or non-interactive stuff.) Anybody else experience this? It's not a huge issue because it resets itself when I change areas and everything is back to normal.

If you switch to DirectDraw mode, this problem should go away. If your computer can't handle DirectDraw mode (a lot of win 7 laptops can't) then just avoid saving your game in any room with rain and you should be fine.

Neither option seemed to make it go away. Maybe sometimes it didn't happen as often, but it'd still happen at certain parts. Not the biggest deal in the world.

Im having the same problem every time I save or load a file at the beginning of the game. How does one enable directdraw mode? Im playing on a regular windows 7 desktop.

There's a windows setup in the game folder for it

I also noticed when you do change the settings you'll will have to start a new game again.
