Will Nexiuz SP be worth it?

I'm a SP kinda guy, will this game be worth my 10 bucks or not?

I like the setting and cryengine 3 graphics. Futuristic stuff is awesome. However if the core gameplay sucks with bots, then it's not worth my time.

But if it plays anything like UT, then I'll be happy I guess... Arena FPS = arena FPS, just want the AI to be somewhat challenging.

Why not play online? Bots aren't the same. It probably would still be worth it for 10 bucks though >.<

It's worth it versus the bots. Actually the beta had botfor like 2 hours but got patched right after and it got remvoed. Error or not,but still they give enough challenge and they are less stupid and less previsible than in Unreal Tournament.

Last good arena shooter that I could get into was UT2004. UT2004 was awesome and there's still people playing it but it is almost ten years old now.

This game looks great but "9 deadly arenas" gives me pause - only 9 maps? I hope there's at least a toolkit of some kind included.

10 bucks / Says buy me, Source code or possibly toolkit for maps and such would be released early if they didn't want to keep it in house.

But maps are easy to make regardless.

Yeah, I think there's gonna be a level editor / tool kit from what I heard from an interview. So it's gonna be worth more than 10 bucks ;)

there is no singleplayer. i have it for my xbox and its only multiplayer.

The store page has single player vs bots listed, xbox must not have gotten them

when UT was out, barely anyone had a good internet connection. lol 56k anyone? :P LAN events happened rarely even with friends.

UT was just damn awesome playing offline against bots.
Even Counter Strike with PODBot was.
But times have changed. ---- A.I. DID NOT (much) :mad:
Sooo....dumb bot offline games is no longer real fun to us I fear. :o
