With these changes spy would be useful against those who hear it now and those who actually played fps before and check their back often. Purpose of the ideas to make spy more useful against competent players making him more fun and meaningful gaming experience in the meantime, most importantly true to his name.


Silent

Pretty obvious sound is bad for balance, either have it or don't either you can hear it or don't once players know what to listen for it is the same as dr

Faster cloaking based on charge(decloak unaffected)

(Max watch charge - Watch charge) * 1.0 sec = cloak time
ex:
70% = 0.3 sec cloak time
100%= instant
20% = 0.8 etc...

Would give massive tactical consideration how would iw users use their charge. Using it all for the kill then cloaking instantly at 10% then grabbing weapon would almost produce the same results, grabbing weapon first is time too decloak starts later but faster. Of course it really rewards not wasting it allows you to be quicker at escapes, you don't have to waste it at corridors any more just take a peak and if noone there decloak and continue there disguised if you are comfortable with the risk. Instant cloaking is one thing but when you disappear you will get shot, don't expect any less , cloak blinking when shot unchanged.

Recloak

While decloaking you can recloak instantly for 10% charge, decloaking takes 2sec, i always found it stupid that spy would continue to decloak even if he caught at the the start of the procedure, many random death can be avoided with this, they need to check their back alone in every 2 sec any way, if you expect to be stalked just spam some bullets.

IW/CnD is fine (Albeit CnD is a little[but only a little tiny itty bit underpowered, IMO])

its only the DR outlasts the IW and CnD against unskilled players, and therefore make them look like that they are weaker.

I think CnD isn't UP, it's just waaaaay too situational. In the right time it can be very useful but it's not too versatile like the IW or even the DR.

And about the changes, i don't think the spy needs it. The mechanic we have now is fine i think.
