So is this game any good? Hit Detection Etc

Hello!

I'm asking this because I've been waiting for a good dinosaur shooter for a while!

My questions are:

Are the weapons good, or are they pea shooters?

Hit detection any good?

I love games like splinter Cell Conviction, call of duty etc where a headshot is a heat shot, no ifs and buts about it!

I don't want the Unreal Style approach where you have to release a whole clip into an enemy at random hit detection.

Worst Nightmare realized in Raccoon City with random hit detection....

Any input is helpful and thank you!

It's a very fun game just currently plagued with some game breaking bugs that popped up last minute. We are arranging for a huge update for Monday that will resolve these issues and with that the game will be back to working / completely playable standards.

We apologize for this. We will be contacting Steam to see if we can extend the discount to cover this lost time for you guys.

We also have some competitions planned that will have some great rewards shortly after the game is fully resolved.

If you aim at a T-rex's legs you'll hit it... if you aim at it's tail... you'll hit it o.o shotguns rip Raptors up at point blank but at range they're abit too accurate

I've heard some people say that the Rhams have no hitboxes on their wings... but i mostly hit them from the ground pretty easily... oh and if you get grabbed it's easier to just melee them to let go

Guns pack enough punch but at the moment alot of the sounds are abit too weak for the heavy guns :(

anyways that's my opinion, hope it helps ^^

A great shotgun can make a game. We spent a lot of time on ours. It definitely feels good but we are constantly tweaking the weapons. Definitely has a power blow-back feel that is satisfying :)

Just to stress though, The shotgun is a bit TOO accurate at LONG-RANGE and with the current sound bug it's almost painful to fire the damn thing with a headset on XD but i will say that it defiantly feels nice to use =P

Just to stress though, The shotgun is a bit TOO accurate at LONG-RANGE and with the current sound bug it's almost painful to fire the damn thing with a headset on XD but i will say that it defiantly feels nice to use =P

You should have seen it before we toned down the accuracy while using sights back in an old alpha. It was more of a Carbine with iron sights. A 7 bullet carbine :P

We are fixing that sound issue with the new impact sounds when w remove the current ones. It is quit deafening :O

Check out the Energy Carbine. It's like a futuristic, laser M1 Garand :) (also my favorite gun in the game coupled with the Stopping Power (2x dmg) weapon upgrade).
