I've been playing SMNC for a while, and just recently I've kept being at the bottom of the list. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Whenever I chase someone with low health, They always kill me or their teammate does and I can never escape my enemies. My enemies are always a higher level than me somehow, and I always have go 1/7 or something like that. What are some general tips regarding how to kill enemies, level up ETC?

I play as Support and megabeth. Help would be appreciated

From reading your post I have 2 suggestions:
1) Stop chasing enemies. Especially as Support. Support is classed as defender for a reason.
2)Kill lots of bots.

AraxisHT offers sound advice. Your K/D doesn't mean the same thing in this game as it does in other games.

The focus of the game is not to DM with pros, but to destroy the enemy bots so that your bots can move forward. Bots will stop at bot groups, turrets, and the money ball. Only bots can drop the shields on turrets and the money ball - and only when the shields are down can Pros do damage to them. So your bots *must* move forward in order to win.

As Support, it's your job to help them by escorting them and destroying enemy bots, as well as keeping them and your team healed. When it gets too hot, back out - your bots are the real problem and smart players will focus on them more than chasing you down (unless it's an easy kill). Always remain aware of your surroundings and be prepared to pull back before you're surrounded or in the thick of it.

You can shoot through your own bots (just as they can shoot through theirs), so make use of that cover as you push. It's OK to shoot at Pros and harass them, just don't forget that the idea is to keep them moving back and your bots moving forward.

Try to move in pairs - it not only provides more firepower for scrapping bots, it makes it harder for Commandos (Assassin/Sparky/Wascot) to single you out, and makes you a less tempting target for heavies looking to bag a pro.

Every time you are killed, the other team gets money, which means they can buy more bots. Every bot/turret/pro you destroy earns you and your team money...so you and yours can buy more bots. Pro kills earn a lot, so when you rush in and get killed you are 'feeding' the other team. Hang back and let the heavies dice it up, but don't be afraid to use your shotgun or hurtgun when necessary. Focus less on killing them, and more on making them give up on trying to kill you - shoot, run, grapple...whatever it takes.

You can play MegaBeth much the same way - stay back and use your rockets. Spin when attacked or swamped and get out. You can actually be quite a bit more aggressive with MegaBeth than you can with Support, but don't get in too deep - I've killed quite a few MegaBeths that got too far in and had no way out once their bag of tricks was empty.

A live pro that has to run back to base to heal can still buy bots and provide visual notice of enemies (any enemies you see are outlined for your teammates) - far more helpful to your team than sitting in the respawn queue.

Basically:
1. Push friendly bots
2. Destroy enemy bots and turrets (making money)
3. Buy bots (spending money)
4. Run away when necessary
5. Fight if you must
6. Last, and most important, BACON!

Hope that helps!

stay close to your mates and try to not run off on your own too much, commandos are the only ones that are not punished too much for going solo thanks to their escape abilites, everyone else has a hard time

focus on killing bots early on, killing pros at the begining of the match isnt only hard but givs you almost few benefits, it certainly wont decide the match, even after early game has passed try to keep killing some bots, you need to make way for your own to reach the enemy moneyball and they give you a good deal of XP

go for the anni but dont go for it alone, try to tell your teammates to help you with it

and finally dont worry too mch about your K/D ratio is not very important in this game, ive seen teams with 20 kills less than the other team pull off impressive wins thanks to teamwork

Thnaks mates! This actualy really stepped up my game, and brought me from 5 to 2nd, and a useless KD of 8/2!
But, its obvious bacon is the most important. And churros.
I have a question about megabeth though: The only ability a mass upgrade are shoot the moon, and I upgrade health/attack to max. Is this bad?

Glad to hear you're finding more enjoyment and satisfaction in SMNC!

Don't discount that K/D entirely: even though it's not about 'bragging rights' and doesn't have the importance it has in DM style gameplay, the enemy fed you 8 pros - good money, quicker leveling, more skill upgrades, and the ability to buy more bots. The less you die and more they die, the better for your team.

I don't know MegaBeth, but I can offer my general (and grossly over-simplified) opinion, fwiw.

Do what works for you. I don't have a 'fixed' upgrade path when I play - I adjust based on how my team and the other team are playing so I can be the most effective. Sometimes that means spreading points around, sometimes it means focusing on one or two items before upgrading the others.

Don't worry about good/bad - play to your strengths - get a feel for the 'groove' of the match and choose your upgrades accordingly (either to minimize any weaknesses being exploited or promote strengths that are paying off).

If you want an idea of what's considered 'best', take a look at these guides (http://www.uberent.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=43&sid=2982e693d98e5e7ee56ecbb5de12c5c3) on UberEnt's forum.
