With any luck, you will be banned in BO2. Don't hack/cheat and you won't have to worry about bans.

If Treyarch was the one that issued the ban then it means he was pulling so much ♥♥♥♥ that they didnt even wait for the 2 week VAC ban. They wanted him gone and issued their ban on him; likely from a Treyarch admin that played with him in game!

Funny I have a super high KD level and I didnt get banned. Mine originates from actually having some skill at HC SnD. Apparently you downloaded yours. Otherwise you would have appealed the ban with the video evidence that you dont hack; which obviously you didnt other wise you wouldnt be posting such a dumb ♥♥♥ question!

They don't ban for KDR alone. You cheated and were caught, why try to deny it with the most idiotic excuses ever thought up. I guess that being out there so many undetectable hacks and you, out of tens of thousands, got detected and banned means that you shouldn't even bother.

I have never seen a more inaccurate post anywhere. Ever.

A GUID is based on a cd-key. If you get a GUID ban, you simply buy a new copy of the game. PB does make note of your hardware ID #s and say they can ban based on that, though I don't think they ever have. And player name is regardless as well. You can literally change your name after/before/during every round of cod4.

Even hardware bans are easily avoidable... Windows MachineID can be changed via registry, HDD serial with special programs... (Might be illegal in your country, in mine - not.)
But yeah, no one will ban you by the hardware IDs because that will be stupid. If you were banned, you will most likely buy this game again, so baning you forever will be non-profitable for publisher. :-)

BO2 will use good olde VAC, you'll see it. :-)

This is exactly why dedicated servers should have ability to rank up and ban Hackers. The developers shouldn't even consider a game without dedicate servers rank ability. People complaining about being kicked/banned off a dedicated server should just move on to another server rather than alternative of relying on VAC. IMHO:cool:
