Cant gift

Ok so i bought the Magicka Collection from the impulsedriven/gamestop PC app and i had already bought the game and the support there said "Steam should automatically recognize you own this game so it should let you gift it." so i apply the game product code on steam and it wont let me gift the product to my friend.

If you purchase a pack that contains elements you contain and elements you don't contain, you get the bits you don't already have and lose everything else.
