It has potential, to become better than Half-Life Deathmatch Classic... So why is this unsupported!?

why would they do taht for quite unpopular game?
unlike tf2, it hasn't many people playing around. I would like some updates myself though. The game rocks

We need an update to this game! It is full of bugs! And I actually enjoying it as well as original HL >( Developers don't care about their games...

If this game had updates, some more people would probably begin to play it. But at this point it seems arguably pointless.

Because there is no point. An update might bring previously players but it won't sell new units.

Update now would be too late anyways. And i still enjoy HL1DM and OP4DM. No need to dream about HLD:S update :p

A update to at least the orange box (2009) engine would be nice for valve to
do, considering its their mod of hl2.This would help with eventscripts and other add-on scripts to work properly.and put this game back on the same engine that it was on with css and hl2mp.

Black Mesa Source will be using Orange Box ... it seems they are getting closer to a release. :)

Black Mesa is coming, so Valve will never update this game because of it, I think... I don't say that I'm against BM or smth, just saying.

B.M. has nothing to do with this game. hl1mp is
a Hl2 Valve mod. B.M. is not a Valve mod.

1157, but you do understand, that this is a recreation of HL1, right? I can't see any point of updating HL1S now. Valve will update it only if they're blind.

Yes i understand, considering i play the game, map for the game,
script for the game and run a 24/7 dedicated server.

The updates if any that hl1mp would get, would be the same as
hl2mp ,in a nut shell, move this mod to the Orange box 2009 engine.
