No sure what its for yet as the Steam update news has nada on it.

Features:

Pings show up in text form on the scoreboard, instead of the simplified color codes


Fixes:

Fixed the random somewhat infrequent texture warping/swimming on the Forsellian maps, and the resulting periodic crashes
Fixed dynamic mutator options in custom matches
Fixed bright models not having the correct shader
Added 9 additional Nexuiz service servers to improve the responsiveness of stats pushing and reading

Has it fixed any performance? because my PC is running it buttery smooth now on Very High (Ultra is a little stuttery still).

I was not able to run it on medium and get the same smoothness yesterday.

The game definitely feels more responsive now. Not sure what happend. Either Way I can get down to killin'

still lagtastic from here and the "ping" column just shows me zeros...i'm starting to think i didn't actually get the update installed is there any way to tell for sure? there's nothing in the "update news" for nexuiz at all and no version # in the client anywhere that i can find

found it with a simple console command says 1.0.0.2595 is this current? if not, anyway to force the update?
