View Full Version : Severe lag/sound stuttering/CTD on SuperMNC

I along with many people have this problem on these 3 games, Super MNC, Sanctum, and Dungeon Defenders. After a few minutes of playing (somewhere around 2-10 minutes) the game suffers severe sound stuttering problems, along with sound problems from other sources while playing, such as Mumble and Ventrilo. After the Sound Stuttering, my FPS drops from the max all the way down to around 10FPS. If I continue playing after this, my PC crashes.

The thing that is strange about this problem is that it only persists in these 3 games which don't require extremely high specs, and it has happened to many people if you google it, yet no solution is actually posted. The only thing that is the same with all people is that they are using NVIDIA drivers.

I've tried clean installing everything from OS to Drivers, but nothing fixed it. I've checked the temperatures, and no overheating. Tried changing vsync and other graphic settings and nothing changes.

After a little bit of searching all these games seem to be using the newest version of UE3, and that just might be the problem, but still I could not find a solution.

Here are some Links to other sites which people seem to have the same exact problem.

Does anybody know what to do with this problem? Is this a steam problem, engine problem, or a spec problem? Please help
