Co-op question

I just bought the game because i loved the original Portal.
I was wondering if anyone knew if you can do cross platform co-op. I have it for the PC and my friend has it for the Xbox. If there is a way can someone explain.

Right now, there's a thread about the cross-platform not working. I do not have any console friends so I have no clue how it worked to begin with. But you might start with a search in this section for that info, as I know there is an existing thread.

PC players can play with PS3 players, but I hear that's not working right now. However, Xbox 360 players can only play with other Xbox 360 players.
