Got a giant.. Where's the armor?

I got the Tomb lord, but it says I can't add armor to him or weapons. When I look up the higher levels the next for giant armor is at like 25 and it says "rank 3" what's the deal?

I was going to buy the unit and just count the 20 bucks as paying for the game but, looking at all the glitches I don't want to dump money into this if it won't let me get armor for my new giant.... I've saved up a ton of coin and gems, so whats the deal?

Giant armor and weapons become available from level 22 and further. At higher levels you will have a possibility to fully upgrade your Giant.
