Try making your buttons visible to players. They should also have indicator lights to their target.

There is no fun in guessing what might happen when you throw a cube in some hole. I ended up using noclip to check what was going on with my cube (http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/594719231677989429/58AD06EED87D3D2B55EFE6A24D58515A347E65D4/).
