I lost my manual, and can not find the exact question I'm looking to have answered.
Does my 60D always take pics at the max resolution, or is that something I have to set? When I bring my images up on my computer they are in 1080p format, and I'm not sure why:confused:

Yes you have to change the resolution. There is a setting where you can capture: SMALL, MEDIUM or LARGE sizes. Go for large if you want full resolution. Seriously, just google it, you'll find the answer faster.

I kept getting forms that were more worried about DPI/printing. However, thanks!

Yeah I quickly googled with the world resolution and I guess that's what you'll get. But you'll find it somewhere in the settings, to change it to large. It's hard to point it out because when I use the camera I just instinctively browse through the settings.
