Anyway, apparently there is a patch......already. It wont fix your net play, apparently there is a known issue that wont be fixed till next week, so dont frustrate yourself with online play. This might help with some other issues, but apparently not crashes in single player. So who knows what it really helps at this point. Since STEAM is slow with patches here ya go per SimHQ

The ironfront website says steam users will be auto updated?

So tried the patch anyways and it came up with errors so will wait to check out whats going on later.

TBH I only had problems with campaign crashing, online was fine for me.

can't wait for this patch to hit.
i've been having a blast in AI blitz matches. the game CTD's during the editor, and everything else SP..while it only disconnects me when i play MP.

does the patch fix this? is there a relative ETA when this patch will come?

Im actually already on the 3rd patch. Not willing to wait for Steam to catch up the first one. Sorry, Steam is just way to slow. Local websites, foreign websites, they all have their risks. Thats why you use a virus scanner.

Ok so I tried to download it and guess what? My antivirus software wouldn't let me. Not making this up..i'll post the results

Dear Iron Front fans,

again we have some good news and some bad news.
The following beta version contains finally the dedicated server and fixes several major issues.
Unfortunately the beta cannot be used by STEAM users. In addition it contains an updated engine,
which is no longer backwards compatible.
This means in Multiplayer all beta users will be separate to 1.0, 1.01 and STEAM users.

We are fully aware that this is bad news for STEAM users and we are very sorry about it.
Unfortunately it is not without our possibilities to make this beta available to STEAM at this point.
With that said we hope to provide a full 1.02 update early next week to all owners of Iron Front.

We wanted to get this update out ASAP to enable most players a better game experience.
Please share your feedback and thoughts on forum.

kju, the IF admin/dev, states the patch will be shipped to steam tomorrow.

"The plan is tomorrow, but it depends on the publisher and STEAM (aka valve time )."

Ah, ok ...

I like to wait for a better version ( 1.02 ? ) , rather than i have 2 patches that are not real better, like v.1.0 .

If it´s next week .... ok. That´s fast enough for me.

I think whenever the patch will hit is not what matters the most for me. What matters is to keep the community updated and provide news on the problems. I very much appreciate the post from FOX_11_GUY.

I have a new game coming out today. Go to Google pictures and type in "game." and enjoy! It's 26.99$ and its not complete. It's not finished. But hey pay for it and if your interested I have many DLC coming too! The game may crash to desktop every 10 mins but hey lets throw it out there now because we need some cash money! Enjoy!

I would like to gift you a non steam version to can patching it with 1.01a it has fixed mp in a very good manner, but no players at all because most of the players own the steam verion..... :(
No patch for steam users no fun for everybody...
