Bullet Hit/Decals

The animation system is great and the decals are phenomenal aswell, but looking down on the corpses at times gives a less than good looking bright red blotch where the impact occurred.

Anyone mess with certain settings to get a better looking decal?

Unfortunately, it seems to be the way they made it. Even on Max it just does some small red spots with no dept. Oh well...

I generally don't stare at corpses with Maximum Payne engaged. I'm sure they are just going to be "ugly" as far as dead people porn goes. Sniper Elite V2 has the same thing going. Looks incredible in motion. When seeing dead ♥♥♥♥♥ up close, not nearly as brutal or realistic seeming.

Not sure anything aside from future modding will really take care of it. Some of the exit wounds look rather brutal though.
