Anyone wanna tell me how you go about using this? UGC 6v6.

How to record and stop recording a demo?
I know you use console and record, but how do you stop recording? How/where is it saved? How do you access the file?

Is there anyway to keep from lagging while using this?

use prec for automated demo recording while mp_tournament is 1.

Figure out the cvars you want to adjust yourself.

As for voice or comms, use the record function of mumble or w/e voip software your team uses. If your team uses the in-game voice then a demo will be sufficient.

Cool (: Thank you very much.

Still need to figure out the Match Comms. It's a UGC thing :/

EDIT: It'll automatically record correct? In it's default settings?

what do you mean by match comms. "it's a ugc thing"... I'm in ugc and there's nothing mandating match comms.

Prec should be default to record all matches with mp_tournament 1, that is if you installed it correctly. Prec also stops recording as soon as tournament mode is reset/disabled.

You must not be a team leader then I guess. Team leaders have to do that.

Also, what do you do when you don't have a server? So I can't host a game.

And how do I save a demo so I can hear myself talking.

are you talking about this?

5.1.1. Website Match Comms
"Each team leader should begin communication at least 24 hours before the match, a team who has not posted to match comms 1 hour before default match time may be considered a no-show."

eh...It's poorly worded..."Match comms" is some proof of...team leader should begin communication at least 24 hours before the match.

I'm not a leader but our mumble server didn't have recording till end of last season and even so, no one recorded anything. Our team had no problems for 3 seasons.

yes I am.

it is poorly worded and even more so understood. I have absolutely no idea what's going on there XD Could you hit up your TC or Leader about this for me? He might've taken care of it without telling the other members. I know the other members don't do anything cause I'm a too nice TC anywho :P

That's just for organizing the match, AFAIK.

You don't need to actually record your Mumble. :P

Okay :) I'd hate to get my team disqualified or anything. Thank you. Do we receive a email about matches or do we have to check the website?

I think the team leader gets an email, but the players just gotta check the site.

I'm pretty sure it's only the admin.
