So the game says on the store page that it needs GfWL for online play. How exactly does that work since it doesn't have any multiplayer? And is there any chance to completely avoid Games for Windows Live inclusion/overlay for this game?
And it doesn't have Steam achievements as far as i can tell right? only the ones from GfWL?
thanks

It's just achievements, and you don't have to log in to GFWL to play.

You can get a program here which completely removes Games for windows live from your install of Fallout 3 here: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/1086

I've got a question - I don't mind GFWL in the game, I'm just concerned my save files will be encrypted. Are the save files encrypted or not? I don't want to lose my saves in case I have to reformat.

They're not encrypted. You'll be fine.

Sweet, thanks. I just got the gamerscore bug, and am going through all my GFWL games to rack up a rather puny score. ;)
