Sadly this, with the amount of indie bundles going on there's a good chance that this title makes it into them sooner or later.

Same with this, more and more people are waiting for games to be discounted because they know they'll be on some mass Steam summer or winter sale for -75%. I'm not sure if it's good for the industry and indie developers in general but that said, I'm waiting for a sale too since my backlog is growing larger all the time :)

Bull dookie, this game will go on sale or to a bundle simply because it was not advertised, no one knew what it was and it simply is not selling well, seeing that its not in the Steam top 20. The devs did not even create any word of mouth with lets say a TB video or previews on indie sites.

Hahaha i totally agree, thankfully Cloudberry Kingdom will come to Steam (it's in beta now) and it's a game aimed at people like us. A wonderful one.

Some people don't have the money to advertise, plus maybe they gave the game to sites and tb as well and they didn't respond or anything.

It's sad the indie devs need tb in order to make any money. :(

Anyways I saw the art style and just had to have it, it plays awesome too!

Ive seen those as well, but notice that the one thing that is on topic, meaning about the PC version, is post release. Its not a preview that would build up the excitment for the game, its not an interview with the dev, its not a pre release TB (maybe you dont like him, but I do) video that is seen by 200,000+ people. The Xbox reviews and article show part of the problem. It took a year for the game to get to PC, in such a case you cant expect people to remember that it was good or what it is.

The game is good, I hope that Im not coming off as someone who is bashing it. Its just a shame that it wont sell as well as it could have. A preview or interview on RPS, or Kotaku, or Destructoid or IndieGames, or IndieGameMag goes a long way. The last thing on Shuggy for PC, on IndieGames pre release is from May 1, and the article actually links to Gamasutra where the Dev actually talks about why the game didnt do well on Xbox and one of the discussed reasons is lack of advertising, I mean come on.

I see that some lessons have been learned with the new game by the dev called Gateways getting a beta and a bit more coverage.

Many big name indie games that have sold relatively well have went on sale very soon after the release even with TB doing WTF is first impressions videos of them. You don't need poor sales for it ;)

I totally agree, NES/SNES SMB's are still my favourite games. No nostalgia goggles involved.
